Venue Operations Associate

Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Venue Operations Associate to support venue execution at a high-end event venue.

This is a venue operations role focused on making sure the property is fully prepared, properly maintained, and running smoothly before, during, and after events. This is not a bartending, serving, or event planning role. It is best suited for someone who takes pride in keeping a venue organized, presentable, and operating correctly.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the venue, including setup of designated outdoor catering support areas using tarps, rugs, cinder blocks, and cones
• Turn on venue systems such as lighting and air conditioning prior to event start
• Check and restock restrooms before and during events
• Set tables and chairs according to provided floor plans
• Load in vendors and provide basic venue orientation
• Clearly communicate venue policies and setup requirements to vendors
• Direct vendors to the correct locations and ensure venue policies are followed throughout the event
• Confirm vendors are set up in correct locations and that all walkways, aisles, and exits remain clear
• Help ensure venue setup complies with venue policies and fire marshal requirements
• Monitor the venue to make sure the property remains clean, organized, and operating properly
• Check restrooms and address basic venue needs as they arise
• Monitor the property to help maintain a clean, safe and orderly environment
• Oversee vendor strike and confirm breakdown is completed according to venue instructions

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move 50lbs
• Ability to work on your feet for extended periods
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

Additional Note:
This is a venue-focused role for someone who wants to help ensure the property delivers properly. You will not be serving food or drinks, and you will not be acting as an event or venue planner or coordinators. Your role is to manage the venue, manage the furniture and communicate with vendors.

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
