Vertical Accounts Manager

Vertical Accounts Manager.

Age: 30-35

Salary: 30k to 35k based on the experience.

Reporting to: Senior Financial Controller.

Department: Vertical’s Finance Department

The vertical accounts manager is responsible for the business vertical’s accounting reports, operations, systems, practices, and statutory reports. The incumbent must adhere to the group’s core values with integrity and proper etiquette.

He should have to work within the business vertical’s finance team and also maintain a high degree of team rapport to create a more productive working environment. Also provide accounting/statutory reports in a timely manner to the financial controller to support in achieving the financial objective.

Working Autonomy: Work is self-prioritized in a structured environment with little direct supervision. Open communication channels exist within the team and with the FC, meaning that work is discussed periodically and on an as-needed basis. The occupant will be required to determine when and how to escalate unresolved or complex issues.

Job Responsibilities

a. Provide excellent leadership and management of accounting and statistical operations.

b. Assist FC in preparing each business unit budget under the business vertical.

c. Assist FC with reliable accounting and statutory reports with budget variation.

d. Ensure that all accounting processes align with GAAP and current financial legislation.

e. maintaining accurate and complete financial records and participating in audit reconciliation as needed.

f. Overseeing the daily activities of the accounting department and ensuring that all incomes, expenses, assets, and liabilities are recorded with appropriate supporting documentation and approval.

g. Responsible for month-end closing entries and ensuring accuracy, reliability, and consistency of the accounting reports.

h. Submit accounting reports and bank reconciliation statements within the time stipulated time frame.

i. Training and motivating accounting team members.

j. Managing payroll of the company

k. Prepare statutory reports and submit upon approval from the financial controller.

l. Submitting periodic accounts payable/receivable report to the financial controller and making necessary bank documents for payments

m. periodic reconciliation of vendor accounts.

n. assist FC in updating the MIS database.

o. Carry out any ad hoc jobs as assigned by the financial controller.

Qualifications: Graduate/Postgraduate with 5 Years of Experience. Should be able to manage the accounts department activities, including the financial reports, independently.

Technical skills: proficient in MS Office applications, especially advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹24,000.00 per month
