Vertical and Horizontal Transport Designer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vertical and Horizontal Transport Design Engineer specializing in escalators and moving walks to design, develop, and support transportation systems for commercial, infrastructure, and mixed-use projects. The role involves technical design, compliance with international standards, coordination with multidisciplinary teams, and support across all project phases—from concept through installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design escalator and moving walk systems in accordance with project requirements, safety standards, and applicable codes
• Prepare technical drawings, layouts, calculations, and specifications
• Perform traffic analysis and capacity calculations for vertical and horizontal transportation systems
• Ensure compliance with international and local standards (EN, ISO, ASME, etc.)
• Coordinate with architects, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers
• Review project specifications, tenders, and client requirements
• Provide technical support during manufacturing, installation, testing, and commissioning
• Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and value engineering activities
• Troubleshoot design-related and site-related technical issues
• Prepare technical reports and design documentation
