Help maintain top notch quality homecare for your Veteran colleagues through ongoing communication and relationship development with the VA medical community and VA Social Workers. You will be involved in coordinating services for veterans, often working within the VA system or with private agencies, focusing on roles like case management, or direct caregiving (aides/companions). You will educate Veteran’s on homecare benefits and on the enrollment process. You will assist with evaluating Veteran’s care needs and with training caregivers based upon those needs.


  • Conducts initial in-home assessments and periodic reassessments

  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date client records in the program database.

  • Follows up on referrals and ensures service implementation for clients.

  • Develop and execute sales plan to meet business development goals

  • Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources, including VA organizations (VFW, American Legion, etc.) , VA Social workers, hospital case managers, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing/rehab facilities, home health agencies, hospices, physicians' offices, fiduciaries, etc.

  • Schedule and conduct Home assessments as per company policy

  • Complete daily face-to-face sales call with referral sources for purposes of generating business leads

  • Plan and organize community marketing events to enhance our visibility in the community and generate new relationships and business opportunities

  • Innovate and create initiatives to enhance the company's reputation

  • Work with the owner to develop the annual budget and operational plan

  • Monitor key performance indicators to achieve the revenue goals and increase gross and net profit metrics

  • Observe all state and federal guidelines and licensing requirements for compliance

  • Other general duties as assigned by management or ownership

We have an opening for a someone who can answer yes to these questions. Sales experience in the health care or home care industry is preferred, but not required. This role is responsible for developing strong relationships with referral sources that will generate client referrals for home care services. This is an outside sales position that requires daily face-to-face sales calls with referral sources. The Marketer must develop and execute sales plans that generate high-value clients. The ideal candidate for this position has a drive to help Veterans and build relationships within the community.

Sales Professional Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales plan to meet business development goals

  • Establish and maintain relationships with referral sources, including hospital case managers, assisted living facilities, skilled nursing/rehab facilities, home health agencies, hospices, physicians’ offices, fiduciaries, etc.

  • Complete daily face-to-face sales calls with referral sources for purposes of generating business leads

  • Plan and organize community marketing events to enhance our visibility in the community and generate new relationships and business opportunities

Compensation and Benefits

  • Compensation includes base salary depending upon experience and results.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Experience in a sales role in-home care, healthcare, or related senior services businesses preferred, but NOT required

  • Knowledgeable and experienced in the healthcare and senior care industries, with contacts and relationships that can be leveraged for business development preferred, but NOT required

  • Experienced at cold calling preferred

  • Highest degree of professional ethics and integrity

  • High degree of personal responsibility and accountability

  • Strong interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills

  • Strong computer skills and knowledge of CRM processes.

  • Associate's degree in business and/or healthcare-related field is preferred

  • Ability to establish rapport and build trust both with company staff as well as with referral sources and prospective clients
