In addition, RPK Critter Care & Animal Hospital provides pet grooming, training, boarding, and lodging services, along with a pet food, accessories & pharmacy store. The hospital also facilitates pet transportation, registration, documentation, and import/export services.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Veterinarian. The Veterinarian will be responsible for providing medical care to animals, including conducting examinations, diagnosing illnesses, prescribing medications, and performing surgeries. The day-to-day tasks will include emergency check-ups, routine health checks, radiology, laboratory testing, and providing guidance on pet care and wellness. Responsibilities also include collaborating with other veterinary staff and ensuring the highest standards of animal care and treatment.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree from an accredited institution
• Licensed to practice veterinary medicine
• Experience in diagnosing and treating various animal health issues, including surgical experience
• Proficiency in radiology, laboratory testing, and emergency care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Compassionate and dedicated to animal welfare
• Experience with pet grooming and training is a plus
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
