Veterinary Doctor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in veterinary medicine, with experience in critical care and a passion for animal welfare. This role involves diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues, performing surgical procedures, and providing preventative care to ensure the well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose any medical conditions.
• Conduct and interpret cytology examination
• Interpret blood tests and perform ultrasound radiographs (X-rays) with ability of interpretation.
• Administer vaccinations and medications as needed, following established protocols.
• Perform soft tissue surgeries with precision and care, ensuring the safety and comfort of the animal.
• Provide professional coverage and management of emergency cases as required
• Utilize veterinary terminology effectively when communicating with staff and pet owners.
• Implement animal restraint techniques during examinations and treatments to ensure safety for both the animal and staff.
• Provide guidance on proper animal care, including nutrition, exercise, and grooming practices.
• Maintain accurate medical records for each patient, documenting treatments and outcomes.
• Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to deliver high-quality care.

Experience

• Proven experience in veterinary practice is essential, with a focus on critical care preferred.
• Strong knowledge of animal physiology, anatomy, and husbandry practices.
• Familiarity with laboratory procedures and aseptic techniques is highly desirable.
• Experience handling various species, including dogs, cats, and birds is a plus.
