Veterinary Nurse

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Veterinary Nurse to join our modern veterinary clinic in Dubai.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of veterinary nursing experience (UAE experience preferred)
• Diploma or Degree in Veterinary Nursing or related field
• Strong hands-on experience in small animal practice (dogs & cats)
• Excellent knowledge of hospital hygiene, infection control, and patient safety
• Ability to lead, train, and support junior nursing staff
• Good communication skills and professional attitude
• Experience working with veterinary software and medical records

Key Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during consultations, diagnostics, and surgical procedures
• Monitor anesthesia and recovery, including patient vital signs
• Perform laboratory procedures (sample collection, CBC prep, urinalysis, SNAP tests)
• Manage in-patient care, medication administration, and fluid therapy
• Maintain sterilization protocols, surgical prep, and equipment care
• Supervise daily nursing operations and ensure clinic protocols are followed
• Provide client education on post-operative care, medications, and preventive health
• Ensure compliance with clinic policies and MOCCAE standards
