Veterinary Nurse

As we continue to grow, we are looking to welcome a skilled Veterinary Nurse to support our veterinary team in delivering high-quality care to animals. The role involves assisting in clinical procedures, patient care, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations within the clinic.

Key Responsibilities

Patient Care

• Monitor and care for hospitalized animals
• Check vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration)
• Administer medications as prescribed
• Assist with feeding, cleaning, and general comfort of patients

Surgical & Clinical Support

• Prepare patients and equipment for surgery
• Assist veterinarians during procedures
• Monitor anesthesia and recovery
• Maintain sterile surgical environment

Diagnostics & Laboratory Work

• Collect samples (blood, urine, fecal, skin scrapings)
• Perform basic laboratory tests
• Prepare samples for external labs

Clinic Hygiene & Infection Control

• Clean and disinfect treatment areas and equipment
• Maintain kennel hygiene
• Follow strict infection control protocols

Client Communication

• Provide basic guidance on medications and aftercare
• Educate clients on pet care and preventive health
• Assist with discharge instructions

Administrative Duties

• Maintain accurate patient records
• Assist with appointment scheduling
• Manage inventory and supplies

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per hour
