Veterinary pharmacy

• Dispense veterinary medications accurately based on prescriptions from veterinarians
• Review prescriptions to ensure correct dosage, drug interactions, and species suitability
• Provide guidance to pet owners and livestock handlers on proper medication usage and storage
• Maintain proper storage conditions for medicines, including temperature-sensitive products
• Manage inventory, including ordering, stock rotation, and expiration monitoring
• Ensure compliance with veterinary pharmaceutical regulations and safety standards
• Prepare and label medications, including compounding when required
• Keep accurate records of dispensed medications and controlled substances
• Collaborate with veterinarians to support treatment plans and medication adjustments
• Educate clients on preventive care products such as vaccines, supplements, and parasite control
