Responsibilities

  • Greet clients warmly, answer phone inquiries, and schedule appointments efficiently to maximize clinic flow.
  • Manage medical records, update patient information, and ensure accurate documentation of treatments and procedures.
  • Collect payments, process insurance claims, and handle medical billing with transparency and professionalism.
  • Assist veterinary staff with animal handling during examinations or procedures, ensuring safety and comfort for pets.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of reception area, treatment rooms, and kennel spaces to uphold hygiene standards.
  • Support laboratory work by preparing samples or assisting with basic tests as needed.
  • Coordinate with kennel staff to ensure animals are properly cared for during their stay at the clinic.

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of veterinary terminology, animal anatomy, and animal restraint techniques to assist in daily operations.
  • Experience with pet care activities such as grooming, dog training, and basic animal husbandry to support comprehensive animal management.
  • Proficiency in medical collection procedures including blood draws or sample collection when necessary.
  • Familiarity with aseptic techniques and laboratory procedures relevant to veterinary medicine.
  • Ability to handle diverse animals confidently, including dogs, cats, and equine species when required.
  • Excellent communication skills for clear interaction with pet owners, veterinary team members, and suppliers.
  • Basic understanding of veterinary critical care practices and emergency protocols to support urgent situations. Pay is determined on experience
