Veterinary Receptionist (Part-Time, Weekends)

Overview
Bahama Road Veterinary Hospital is seeking a friendly, dependable Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. We are primarily looking for part-time weekend coverage (approximately 20 hours/week), but we are open to offering a full-time position to the right candidate. This role is essential in providing exceptional client service and supporting the daily operations of our animal care facility. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals, excellent communication skills, and familiarity with veterinary terminology and procedures. Responsibilities

• Greet clients and their pets in a professional and compassionate manner
• Schedule appointments, manage client records, and handle client communication efficiently
• Collect payments and process medical collections accurately
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and maintaining appointment calendars
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area and front office
• Communicate veterinary instructions clearly to pet owners and ensure understanding of treatment plans

Experience

• Prior experience in veterinary clinics or animal care facilities is highly desirable
• Strong communication skills and ability to handle stressful situations professionally

Pay: From $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
