VFX Supervisor

You will be the bridge between imagination and execution, overseeing the design, integration, and delivery of all visual effects that enhance or transform the film’s reality. As VFX Supervisor, you’ll collaborate with the director, cinematographer, and production designer from pre-production onward—analyzing the script, planning effects-heavy sequences, and determining whether to use practical, digital, or hybrid solutions.

May include work on feature films, documentaries, commercials, explainer videos, promotional videos, social media video, etc. You’ll lead a team of artists and technicians (compositors, animators, FX TDs, etc.), manage the VFX pipeline, and ensure that all effects align with the film’s tone, budget, and schedule.

This is a 1099 position that may be full-time, part-time, or intermittent based on the desire of the individual and the availability of work. Work is primarily remote.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $41.00 - $57.00 per hour

Experience:

• VFX: 5 years (Preferred)
• visual effects supervisor: 5 years (Preferred)
