VHA Experienced Clinical Applications Coordinators (CAC)

Ben Allegretti Consulting (BAC) seeks a Veterans Health Administration (VHA) experienced Health Informatics Specialists/Clinical Applications Coordinator (HIS/CAC) who has experience configuring and maintaining Veterans Health Information Systems Technology Architecture/ Computerized Patient Record System (VistA/CPRS) projects and has some training delivery experience.

Our ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience developing and maintaining CPRS tools and the ability to help the customer develop and deliver training to fellow HIS/CACs. Prior VHA HIS/CAC experience with the various health information systems and technologies used by VHA is a significant plus. Our ideal member possesses advanced level competencies in the following areas:

Comprehensive knowledge of CPRS functionality

Extensive experience developing and maintaining VistA/CPRS utilities and tools

Experience training VA healthcare workforce in use of CPRS and related tools

Works well in interdisciplinary professional teams

Ideal candidate would have VHA medical center or national level VISTA/CPRS experience or experience with Field Informatics Stewardship (FIS).

Education: Bachelor's (Preferred)

Pay: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour
