Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and troubleshooting vibration data collection and analysis on compressors, pumps, turbines, fans, and other rotating machinery.
- Utilize portable and online vibration monitoring systems (e.g., Emerson CSI, SKF, Bently Nevada) to diagnose mechanical faults such as imbalance, misalignment, bearing defects, looseness, and resonance.
- Develop and maintain equipment vibration databases and trend analysis reports.
- Recommend corrective actions and work closely with maintenance, operations, and engineering teams to implement solutions.
- Support root cause failure analysis (RCFA) investigations.
- Assist in the development and continuous improvement of the plant’s Predictive Maintenance (PdM) program.
- Conduct periodic route-based data collection and analyze data using time waveform, FFT spectra, and phase analysis.
- Train and mentor junior technicians on vibration analysis best practices.
- Ensure all work complies with company safety standards, API, and ISO vibration standards.
