Global Head of Finance

New York, NY (Hybrid) - 4 days in office M-T (remote Friday)

We're seeking a Deputy CFO/ Global Head of Finance to lead Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, and Financial Operations across a rapidly growing international business operating in 10+ countries.
Reporting directly to the CFO (with a 3 year track to CFO),
this role will own budgeting, forecasting, consolidated reporting, cash management, financial systems, and global finance operations while leading a small finance team and outsourced accounting partners worldwide.
This is a hands-on leadership opportunity to build scalable financial infrastructure, processes, controls, and reporting for a profitable, high-growth media company experiencing 100%+ annual growth.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis

Lead company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.

Own financial modeling, KPI reporting, variance analysis, and executive reporting.

Partner with business leaders to drive strategic planning and performance management.

Manage and develop the FP&A function.
Accounting & Financial Reporting

Oversee global accounting operations, consolidations, and financial reporting across multiple entities and geographies.

Ensure compliance with US GAAP, audit requirements, tax reporting, and regulatory obligations.

Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
Global Finance Operations

Lead outsourced accounting partners across the US, UK, UAE, Africa, and Asia.

Implement scalable policies, controls, and operational processes.

Ensure consistent financial standards across all entities.
Treasury, Equity & Systems

Manage treasury, cash flow, banking relationships, and liquidity planning.

Oversee equity administration, cap table management, and corporate structure matters.

Drive finance systems strategy, ERP optimization, automation, and reporting enhancements.
Strategic Leadership

Partner with the CFO and executive team on growth initiatives and business strategy.

Support international expansion and operational scaling.

Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, controls, and financial performance.
Qualifications

10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience spanning Accounting, FP&A, and Financial Operations.

Experience managing multi-entity, international organizations with multiple currencies and jurisdictions.

Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business partnering.

Proven experience leading outsourced finance providers and global teams.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA and/or MBA preferred.

Big Four accounting experience strongly preferred.

Experience with ERP and finance technology platforms such as NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Workiva, BlackLine, FloQast, and Carta.

High-growth, venture-backed, media, publishing, events, or SaaS experience is a plus.
Compensation
-
Base Salary: $285,000–$315,000

Bonus: 25%
