Redstone Search Group are working with a commodities focussed investment firm looking to hire a Vice President to join their growing office in New York
Key Responsibilities / Tasks

Analysing credit, liquidity, operations, legal and market risks for prospective transactions, mostly utilising long-term investments, with some physical transactions within the metals market.

Leading preparation and negotiation of investment proposals (across both market and asset class to deliver competitive and solution orientated responses) and transaction documentation, including term sheets and credit agreement, utilizing these do cultivate counterparty relationships.

Structure and optimize transactions to enhance returns and mitigate risk in line with fund strategy, partnering with internal teams to secure approvals and execute transactions.

Contribute to innovative, repeatable investment structures utilizing tools such as physical commodity transactions, collateral arrangements, leverage, insurance, and hybrid capital solutions.

Role reports to Head of Transaction Structuring & Restructuring.
Key Qualifications / Experience

Minimum of 4 years’ experience within investments, ideally with at least 2 years on the buy side within a similar firm, preferably within the commodities space (namely metals).

Must have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

Exceptional analytical skills with a high attention to detail needed with demonstrated experience in credit-oriented investing and transaction structuring or restructuring; experience in structured trade or commodity finance preferred.

Entrepreneurial, commercial, self-motivated team player needed, strong growth mindset who can provide measurable impact within the business.

Role is to be based in New York, with at least 4 days in the office.
