Our products sit at the intersection of healthcare, labor, technology, and public benefits. We partner with unions, benefit funds, employers, health plans, healthcare providers, and technology companies to create solutions that improve lives while delivering measurable business results.

We are entering our next phase of growth and are looking for a marketing leader who can build a modern, data-driven marketing organization capable of supporting multiple products, brands, and business lines.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional brand marketing role.

We are looking for a leader who is equally comfortable analyzing conversion funnels, training and coaching marketers, launching campaigns, improving websites, reviewing creative, presenting to the executive team, and challenging assumptions with data.

You’ll inherit a talented team and help transform marketing into one of the company’s primary growth engines.

You’ll be responsible for marketing across:

• B2B enterprise sales
• B2B2C benefit programs focused on enrollment and utilization
• Software products
• Thought leadership
• Corporate communications
• Brand

This role combines strategy with execution. We expect our marketing leaders to think big and dive into and own the details.

We are looking for someone who uses data before opinions, tests assumptions rather than defending them, coaches people instead of rescuing them, holds themselves and others accountable, balances creativity with operational discipline, moves comfortably between strategic thinking and detailed execution, and continuously improves systems rather than repeatedly solving the same problems.

The successful candidate won’t simply lead campaigns. They’ll build the systems, team, and operating model that help Workers Benefit Fund scale from a successful mission-driven, for-profit organization into the leading technology-enabled benefits platform for working families.

What You’ll Own

• Growth Strategy
• Develop and execute the company’s marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Identify new growth opportunities through research, customer insights, analytics, and experimentation.
• Build measurable marketing programs that increase awareness, lead generation, customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
• Performance Marketing
• Lead demand generation across paid, owned, earned, and partner channels.
• Improve conversion across every stage of the customer journey.
• Use experimentation, attribution, and analytics to continuously optimize performance.
• Translate marketing activity into business outcomes.
• Marketing Operations
• Build scalable marketing systems, processes, and workflows.
• Improve planning, prioritization, QA, campaign execution, and project management.
• Ensure marketing delivers high-quality work on schedule.
• Create dashboards that provide visibility into marketing performance.
• Brand & Communications
• Continue strengthening the Workers Benefit Fund brand.
• Ensure consistent messaging across all products and business lines.
• Lead content strategy, public relations, thought leadership, proposals, case studies, presentations, and executive communications.
• Support product launches and strategic initiatives.
• Team Leadership
• Build a high-performing marketing organization.
• Train and coach managers and individual contributors.
• Provide frequent feedback.
• Develop talent.
• Set clear expectations.
• Hold people accountable.
• Address performance issues quickly and constructively.
• Create a culture of ownership, curiosity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Experience

• 10+ years in progressively responsible marketing leadership roles.
• Experience leading both B2B and B2B2C marketing organizations.
• Strong digital marketing and growth marketing expertise.
• Demonstrated success improving measurable business outcomes.
• Experience building marketing teams and coaching leaders.
• Experience managing multiple products or brands simultaneously.
