About ProsperityEHR

At ProsperityEHR, our mission is to improve access to and the experience of mental and behavioral health care delivery for all. We are becoming the technology and services partner of choice for growing outpatient behavioral health group practices throughout the U.S., particularly those offering a diverse mix of treatment modalities: talk therapy, medication management, ketamine, TMS, and more.

We partner with practices to help them achieve operational excellence so they can meaningfully connect with more patients and help them thrive. We do this by delivering and supporting an integrated technology and services platform that includes an EHR, patient portal, practice management software, and revenue cycle management (RCM) services.

Overview and Responsibilities

We are looking for a mission-driven, results-oriented sales executive to lead our outside sales efforts and make a significant impact on our growth. Our customers care deeply about helping people — and our ideal candidate is just as passionate about improving mental and behavioral health care as they are about winning a sale.

In addition to the responsibilities you’d expect — establishing, executing, and optimizing sales strategies, hiring and managing AEs and Business Development team members, overseeing daily sales activities, and managing a sales budget — it is equally important that this leader operates as a “player-coach.” This means leading from the front: building strong customer relationships, participating in lead generation and qualification, conducting product demonstrations, advancing pipeline, and closing deals. You will report to the Chief Revenue Officer.

You will be successful in this role and help grow the company by:

  • Creating a culture of success, accountability, and ongoing goal achievement
  • Developing go-to-market strategies and tactics to achieve our sales goals
  • Hiring, managing, coaching, and mentoring the Account Executive and Business Development teams
  • Leading by example — managing key customer relationships and actively participating in lead generation, demos, strategy sessions, and closing
  • Collaborating on the development of compensation and incentive programs that support company growth
  • Providing detailed and accurate sales forecasts to company leadership
  • Working closely with Marketing on account-based marketing initiatives, sales collateral, and lead qualification
  • Own both team and personal quota during the first 6–12 months, transitioning to full team ownership as we scale.
  • Improving the infrastructure, systems, and processes that support the sales team’s success
  • Leveraging both your existing network and new connections to generate high-quality sales leads
  • Sharing customer and prospect feedback with the Product team to help inform product direction
  • Providing leadership on cross-departmental initiatives that contribute to greater customer success
  • Representing ProsperityEHR at conferences, events, and tradeshows — including preparation of displays/collateral and post-event reporting
  • Performing other duties as assigned and appropriate

Qualifications

Required

  • Minimum of seven years of healthcare sales or account management experience
  • Minimum of four years of product sales leadership experience
  • Behavioral Health Experience a must
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate value and actively listen to feedback
  • Strong relationship-building, presentation, and storytelling abilities
  • Positive, can-do attitude with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Experience CRM systems (Zoho preferred) and the ability to optimize data-driven sales processes
  • Ability to travel 25–50% of working time to customer sites, including occasional overnight or weekend travel
  • Must reside in one of the following states: MD, PA, WV, CO, NY, WI, NJ, IA, GA, FL, OH, MN, WI
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred

  • Minimum of two years in a senior sales leadership role (VP or above)
  • Marketing experience or experience partnering closely with marketing teams
  • Experience scaling a small company into a market leader
  • A track record of solving complex, ambiguous problems in dynamic environments

More About You

  • Assertive and willing to push back thoughtfully when necessary
  • Highly autonomous and self-directed; thrives with ownership
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and “the grey”
  • Operate with a service-minded approach
  • Intrinsically motivated to improve mental and behavioral healthcare
