Vice President of US Growth

The Vice President of U.S. Growth leads the strategy and execution of all U.S.-based outreach and revenue generation efforts, integrating marketing, partnerships, and donor development to achieve annual revenue targets. This role is responsible for building a unified growth engine that expands national awareness, engages new audiences, and converts engagement into sustained financial support for the organization’s mission. The VP of U.S. Growth will lead and manage a team responsible for revenue development across multiple channels, securing commitments while working cross-functionally with Marketing and Advocacy departments to develop effective communication and engagement strategies. SUMMARY
The Vice President of U.S. Growth leads the strategy and execution of all U.S.-based outreach and revenue generation efforts, integrating marketing, partnerships, and donor development to achieve annual revenue targets. This role is responsible for building a unified growth engine that expands national awareness, engages new audiences, and converts engagement into sustained financial support for the organization’s mission. The VP of U.S. Growth will lead and manage a team responsible for revenue development across multiple channels, securing commitments while working cross-functionally with Marketing and Advocacy departments to develop effective communication and engagement strategies. This role will ensure that outreach and relationship-building efforts are intentionally designed and executed to generate measurable growth in commitments, deepen supporter engagement, and cultivate long-term, mission-aligned relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Serves as a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Partners with other ELT members to lead the global strategy, develop policy, build organizational culture, guide planning and prioritization of the global organization while strengthening the coherence, trust, and performance of the ELT itself.
  • Develop and execute the national U.S. growth strategy to achieve annual revenue targets in annual revenue commitments (currently $30M+). Targets will be set collaboratively with the ELT and under Board approval. The growth strategy includes an integrated, scalable approach to marketing, outreach, and brand awareness with both B2B and B2C components and identifies and mitigates potential conversion barriers.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team responsible for marketing engagement, supporter acquisition and revenue generation activities across the United States as reported from CRM pipeline and moves management processes. Manages performance and ensures accountability of team members based upon individual goals and targets.
  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with churches, networks, influencers, and organizations that expand reach and revenue opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Vice President for Global Advocacy and Mobilization to align growth strategy with the organization’s global advocacy and mission priorities.

EDUCATION OR FORMAL TRAINING:
BA or BS degree required in a related field

EXPERIENCE:
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years of senior leadership experience in marketing and sales, including oversight and management of sales teams
  • Demonstrated results in use of moves management, CRM pipelines, conversion strategies, and customized client/customer engagement.
  • Track record of success in business-to-business sales
  • Executive leadership experience at mid-size ($10M+) organization preferred
  • HubSpot experience preferred

MANAGERIAL SCOPE:
this role is responsible for managing and developing members of the U.S. Growth Team; oversees approximately 10 regular staff and independent contractors.

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This role is eligible for a 3/2 hybrid model with three days in-office weekly and up to two days remote. Position may include up to 50% domestic and/or international travel to low-income communities with demanding, chaotic, and emotionally intense situations. It is expected that the candidate will be available to participate in all scheduled meetings and other collaborative activities across the organization.

As a nonprofit organization, we strive to offer a meaningful benefits package which includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, 403b participation/match, PTO, a monthly cell phone stipend, and other perks (tuition assistance, fitness/wellness reimbursement, and paid volunteer time). This position is considered a full-time, exempt role. Final compensation will be based on candidate experience, skills, and employment status.

Salary

$127,100 - $160,000 per year
