Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Vice President of Operations to lead the operational performance of multiple projects and business units. The ideal candidate will oversee project delivery, operational efficiency, resource planning, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, commercial awareness, and extensive experience in construction, infrastructure, or landscape operations.
Key Responsibilities

Provide strategic direction and leadership to all operational departments, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Oversee end-to-end project execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality and safety standards.

Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and performance metrics to enhance efficiency across all functions.

Lead resource planning including manpower, equipment, and material allocation for multiple concurrent projects.

Drive cost optimization initiatives and monitor financial performance of operational activities.

Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards across all sites.

Lead senior project teams, providing coaching, direction, and performance management.

Establish strong relationships with clients, consultants, government entities, and key stakeholders.

Oversee procurement strategies, subcontractor management, and vendor evaluation.

Implement risk management frameworks to identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks.

Monitor project progress through regular reporting, audits, and site visits.

Support business development and tendering teams with operational insights, methodologies, and project execution plans.

Lead continuous improvement programs to enhance operational excellence and organizational capability.
Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field; Master’s degree is an advantage.

Extensive experience (typically 20+ years) in operations management within construction, infrastructure, or landscape industries.

Proven track record in overseeing large-scale projects and multi-site operations.
