As the Vice President Residences, you will lead the strategic and operational oversight of Kempinski’s global residential portfolio, ensuring that every branded residence delivers the same "artisan of hospitality" experience as our iconic hotels. - Brand Standards & Compliance: Own the development and compliance of residential-specific SOPs and service protocols to ensure "Kempinski" quality is maintained in private homes.
- Owner & Stakeholder Relations: Build strong relationships with property owners and Homeowners Associations (HOAs), ensuring transparent communication regarding budget allocations and maintenance costs.
- Pre-Opening & Development: Partner with Technical Services and Design teams to ensure operational functionality in new residential builds and lead pre-opening readiness from staffing to licensing.
- Financial Stewardship: Manage residential budgets and capital expenditure (CapEx) programs, ensuring high-value services are delivered while controlling costs to protect owner returns.
- Customer Journey & Recognition: Ensure residents receive personal recognition and prompt, cordial attention, often through iconic brand ambassadors like the Lady in Red.
- Operational Readiness: Conduct regular quality audits and property reviews to identify service gaps and drive time-bound corrective action plans.
- Experience: Minimum 12+ years of progressive leadership in luxury hospitality or premium residential management, with at least 5–7 years in multi-property or regional oversight.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Residential Expertise: Deep knowledge of branded residences, mixed-use governing documents, and the unique legal/insurance requirements of private ownership within a hotel brand.
- Financial Acumen: Numbers-fluent with a proven track record in P&L management, Net Operating Income (NOI) optimization, and long-term CapEx planning.
- Communication & Influence: Outstanding communicator who can influence global developers, brand headquarters, and private homeowners alike.
- Leadership Style: Poised and professional, with a "participative" management style that motivates property-level leadership teams.
- Certifications: Project management or real estate asset management certifications are considered a strong advantage.
