The Vice Principal will assist the Principal in leading and managing the academic and administrative functions of the school (Play Group to Class XII). Eligibility Criteria
Post Graduate Teacher (PGT) with minimum 10+ years of teaching experience
Minimum 2 years’ experience as Vice Principal / Academic Coordinator / Senior Leadership Role
Mandatory CBSE school work experience
Postgraduate Degree in relevant subject
B.Ed (Mandatory) / M.Ed (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities
1. Academic Leadership (Play Group – XII)
Ensure proper implementation of CBSE curriculum, guidelines, and examination policies.
Supervise curriculum planning and academic calendar preparation.
Monitor classroom teaching standards and conduct regular academic audits.
Guide teachers in lesson planning, NEP-based practices, competency-based education, and assessment reforms.
Oversee Board classes (X & XII) preparation, result analysis, and performance improvement strategies.

2. CBSE Compliance & Documentation
Ensure compliance with CBSE affiliation bye-laws and circulars.
Supervise maintenance of academic records and inspection files.
Coordinate during CBSE inspections and audits.
Monitor safety, infrastructure, and statutory compliance as per CBSE norms.

3. Staff Supervision & Development
Conduct classroom observations and performance appraisals.
Mentor PRTs, TGTs, and PGTs.
Identify training needs and coordinate teacher professional development programs.
Assist in recruitment, induction, and evaluation of staff.

4. Student Discipline & Welfare
Maintain discipline and ensure implementation of school policies.
Address student behavioral concerns in coordination with teachers and counselors.
Promote holistic development – academics, co-curricular activities, life skills, and values.
Handle parent grievances professionally.

5. Administrative & Operational Management
Supervise daily school operations (timetable, duty allocation, event coordination).
Ensure smooth conduct of examinations and school events.
Monitor safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Support infrastructure planning and maintenance.

6. Parent & Community Engagement
Conduct PTMs and academic review meetings.
Represent the school in external academic forums when required.
Maintain positive relations with parents and stakeholders.
