Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Principal / Vice Principal to lead and manage the academic and administrative functions of our State Board school. The candidate should ensure smooth daily operations, academic excellence, discipline, and positive parent engagement.
Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Leadership
- Ensure proper implementation of the State Board curriculum
- Monitor syllabus completion and academic planning
- Conduct classroom observations and teacher evaluations
- Support teachers in lesson planning and academic improvement
- Review student performance and plan improvement strategies
Administration & Operations
- Manage daily school operations smoothly
- Maintain discipline among students and staff
- Oversee attendance, timetables, exams, and school events
- Ensure compliance with State Board norms and regulations
- Maintain proper documentation and records
Team Management
- Lead, guide, and mentor teaching and non-teaching staff
- Conduct regular staff meetings
- Ensure reporting hierarchy is followed
- Address staff concerns professionally
Parent & Student Engagement
- Handle parent meetings and escalations
- Ensure transparent communication with parents
- Address student behavior and disciplinary issues
- Promote a positive school culture
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to school policies
- Maintain confidentiality in academic and administrative matters
- Coordinate during audits and inspections
Eligibility Criteria
- Postgraduate degree with B.Ed (Mandatory)
- Minimum 5–8 years of teaching experience
- Minimum 2–3 years in leadership role (Principal / Vice Principal)
- Experience in State Board schools preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Good documentation and administrative skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
