Tiffin-Fostoria Municipal Court Advocate
Seneca County Prosecuting Attorney’s Victim Assistance Program
Part-Time (20-24 hours/week)
Job Duties Include:
The Advocate is responsible for maintaining a caseload of misdemeanor crimes for Tiffin-Fostoria Municipal Court. The Advocate should possess good communication skills with public and other Advocates. The Advocate provides direct assistance with Domestic Violence, Civil Staking and Juvenile Protection Orders; collecting supervision fees, assisting with court coverage for other Advocates, assisting with community outreach, as well as other duties/assignments assigned by the Director.
This will begin as a part-time position with potential to become full-time. Pay begins at $16.50/hour and may increase depending on applicant’s experience and qualifications.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
High school diploma
Valid state of Ohio Driver’s License
Successful completion of a background check.
