Team Gilbert has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated student to participate in our Victim Advocate Undergraduate Internship Program! With every job we fill, our focus is on providing best in class service to our citizens while offering the opportunity for professional growth in a rewarding and innovative work environment.
Our Victim Advocate Intern will work closely with the Victim Services Coordinator and Victim Advocates, who will provide direct training and support throughout the internship. Interns will learn how to provide trauma-informed, person-centered, strengths-based services that promote health and safety, inspire confidence, respect choice, and assist victims/survivors towards next steps. The primary responsibilities and duties of this internship include:
This is a limited-term internship that will end no later than 5/31/2027. The candidate selected for this internship will work part-time, up to 20 hours per week.
