Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and creative Video Editing Intern to join our vibrant content creation team! This internship offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in video production, post-production, and multimedia content creation. As a Video Editing Intern, you will collaborate with experienced professionals to craft engaging visual stories, enhance footage through editing and motion graphics, and contribute to the overall visual identity of our brand. This role is perfect for passionate individuals eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, innovative environment while honing their technical expertise across a wide range of editing tools and creative software.

This internship is for COLLEGE CREDIT! It can lead to a PAID position with a growing startup.

Duties

• Assist in editing raw video footage into polished videos using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Avid Media Composer.
• Incorporate motion graphics and visual effects with Adobe After Effects and Cinema 4D to elevate video content.
• Edit photos and manipulate images utilizing Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom, Capture One, and Adobe Bridge for social media, marketing campaigns, and internal projects.
• Support the team in filming and videography tasks, including setting up shots and managing camera equipment.
• Organize and manage media assets within content management systems and FTP servers for efficient workflow.
• Contribute to the creation of engaging content by applying typography, graphic design principles, and 2D/3D animation techniques using Adobe Illustrator, Maya, or other relevant software.
• Collaborate on multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film Production, Multimedia Arts, Graphic Design, or related fields.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; familiarity with Final Cut Pro or Avid is a plus.
• Experience with photo editing tools such as Lightroom or Capture One; knowledge of photo manipulation techniques is desirable.
• Basic understanding of video production processes including filming, editing, post-production workflows, and motion graphics.
• Knowledge of 3D animation software like Maya or Cinema 4D is advantageous but not required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
