Video Editor (0.6 – 2 Years Experience) – SimpleGhar

Job Description

SimpleGhar is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Video Editor to join our in-office team. If you have 6 months to 2 years of editing experience and are passionate about creating high-quality YouTube videos, product explainers, and social media content, this role is perfect for you.

You will work closely with our content and production team to produce engaging videos across various formats. This is an excellent opportunity for early-stage editors to grow and refine their skills while working in a fast-paced digital media environment.

Responsibilities

• Edit long-form YouTube videos, shorts, reels, and promotional content
• Trim footage, add transitions, animations, text overlays, and sound effects
• Color correct & color grade videos for consistent look and feel
• Create motion graphics when needed
• Organize raw footage, maintain project files, and follow SimpleGhar’s editing style
• Collaborate with content writers & creative team for smooth production workflow
• Ensure timely delivery of all video projects
• Stay updated with new editing trends, tools, and YouTube best practices

Requirements

• 6 months – 2 years of real-world video editing experience
• Strong command of Adobe Premiere Pro (mandatory)
• Knowledge of After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar tools (added advantage)
• Good sense of storytelling, pacing, cuts, and sound design
• Ability to adapt to multiple editing styles
• Basic understanding of YouTube video formatting and social media trends
• Strong attention to detail & ability to take creative feedback
• Portfolio or links to previous editing work (required)

Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma/Graduate in Multimedia, Film, Mass Communication, or similar (preferred)
• Creativity + strong visual sense
• Time management & ability to meet deadlines
• Basic motion graphics knowledge
• Experience in editing tech, product, or review-based content (bonus)

• Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience & skill level)
