Cokonet Academy is a fast-growing EdTech company. We create impactful content and engaging digital experiences, and we are looking for a talented Video Editor with at least 2 years of experience to join our creative team.
Responsibilities:
- Edit and produce short-form and long-form video content for marketing, social media, website, and internal use.
- Add transitions, effects, music, graphics, and text overlays to enhance video storytelling.
- Collaborate closely with design, marketing, and content teams to understand requirements and bring concepts to life.
- Manage and organize raw footage, project files, and video libraries.
- Stay up to date with the latest editing techniques, trends, and best practices across platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.).
- Ensure all videos align with brand guidelines and maintain high-quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Media, Film, Communication, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years of proven professional experience in video editing.
- Proficiency in video editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve).
- Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator for basic graphic needs.
- Strong storytelling skills with attention to detail, pacing, and creativity.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- A strong portfolio/reel of professional work (mandatory).
