Video Editor

Location: Lakhotia College of Design
Position: Full-Time / Part-Time

About the Role:

We are seeking a creative and skilled Video Editor to join our team at Lakhotia College of Design. The ideal candidate should be passionate about storytelling through video, with a strong focus on Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other digital content formats. You will be responsible for ideating, editing, and producing engaging video content that enhances our brand presence and connects with our audience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit and produce short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, TikTok-style content) for social media platforms.
• Shoot and edit high-quality content including events, workshops, student activities, and campus highlights.
• Work closely with the marketing and content team to conceptualize creative ideas for video campaigns.
• Add music, sound effects, graphics, and animations to enhance video quality.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, editing styles, and viral content strategies.
• Ensure brand guidelines and aesthetics are maintained across all video content.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or VN.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Facebook) and their video trends.
• Basic knowledge of color grading, transitions, and motion graphics.
• Ability to handle both shooting and editing when required.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail and storytelling ability.
• Prior experience in video editing/content creation (portfolio required).

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of Canva for quick edits and design.
• Familiarity with fashion, design, or educational content.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹10,161.76 - ₹34,300.36 per month

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
