Job Title: Video Editor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor for a full-time role to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, motion graphics, and sound design. You will be responsible for editing high-quality video content across multiple platforms while working closely with the marketing, design, and content teams. Your primary goal will be to bring creative concepts to life through captivating and professional visual storytelling.

You should be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously, work independently and collaboratively, and bring fresh ideas to elevate our brand’s digital presence.

Responsibilities of a Video Editor:

• Edit raw footage into engaging, high-quality videos for various platforms (social media, websites, ads, presentations, etc.).
• Understand brand requirements and ensure videos align with company tone and style.
• Collaborate with content creators and marketing teams to produce storytelling-driven videos.
• Add motion graphics, subtitles, transitions, effects, music, and sound design where required.
• Manipulate and enhance footage using the latest trends and creative video techniques.
• Organize and maintain video assets, project files, and archives.
• Perform quality checks (visuals, audio levels, sync) before finalizing any content.
• Manage revisions and implement feedback in a timely and professional manner.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, video formats, and editing software advancements.
• Ability to create short-form content (Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikToks) as well as long-form videos.
• Occasionally shoot video content or assist in setting up video shoots when needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Media Arts, Communication, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory).
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Basic knowledge of color correction, audio editing, and visual effects.
• Strong visual storytelling and pacing skills.
• Good understanding of different social media formats and platform-specific requirements.
• Ability to take constructive feedback and improve based on reviews.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of graphic design is a plus.
• A strong portfolio or demo reel showcasing editing capabilities is required.

Experience:
1–2 years of experience in video editing or related field (internships or freelance work considered).
