Video Editor

Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in editing video content that captivates and engages our audience. You will work closely with our creative and marketing teams to produce high-quality videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and promotional materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Video Editing: Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging final products that meet project requirements and maintain high standards of quality.
• Storytelling: Create compelling narratives and visual stories that align with our brand’s voice and objectives.
• Content Creation: Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and develop video content for various purposes, including marketing, training, and brand promotion.
• Audio and Visual Enhancement: Incorporate music, sound effects, voiceovers, and visual effects to enhance video content and ensure a professional finish.
• Project Management: Manage multiple video projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications and deadlines.
• File Management: Organize and maintain video files, including raw footage, project files, and final exports, ensuring efficient access and storage.
• Feedback Incorporation: Review and implement feedback from team members and stakeholders to refine and improve video content.
• Trend Awareness: Stay updated on industry trends, video editing techniques, and emerging technologies to bring fresh ideas and innovative approaches to video projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media Production, Graphic Design, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role, with a strong portfolio demonstrating editing skills and creative abilities.
• Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and resolutions for different platforms.
• Knowledge of color correction, sound design, and motion graphics.
• Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for visual composition and storytelling.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with additional software such as After Effects, Photoshop, or Illustrator for creating graphics and animations.
• Familiarity with video SEO and optimization techniques for online platforms.
• Knowledge of video production processes and equipment.
