Job Title: Remote Video Editor

Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will have strong storytelling skills, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to transform raw footage into compelling visual content that aligns with our brand goals. You will work closely with our marketing, production, and creative teams to produce engaging videos for social media, websites, and ad campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos that meet project objectives and brand guidelines.
• Add sound effects, background music, voiceovers, and visual effects where necessary.
• Collaborate with creative teams to understand project briefs, target audiences, and messaging goals.
• Ensure all videos are optimized for various platforms (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.).
• Maintain consistent visual quality, pacing, and storytelling across projects.
• Manage multiple editing projects with tight deadlines.
• Stay updated with current video trends, editing techniques, and social media best practices.
• Create short-form and long-form videos, including promotional ads, reels, explainers, interviews, and brand stories.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a video editor (portfolio required).
• Proficiency with editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar.
• Basic knowledge of color grading, motion graphics, and audio mixing.
• Ability to handle feedback constructively and adapt to client or team revisions.
• Strong sense of timing, visual awareness, and storytelling.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to meet deadlines while working remotely.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience creating videos for digital marketing campaigns or social media content.
• Familiarity with animation or motion graphics software (After Effects, Canva, or CapCut).
• Understanding of aspect ratios, compression, and formats for web and social platforms.

Work Environment

• Remote (flexible hours with project-based deadlines).
• Must have reliable internet access and a suitable home workstation.

Compensation

• Based upon video length in the following manner: 1) 5-10 seconds PKR 250 2) 10-20 seconds PKR 500 3) 20-30 seconds PKR 750 4) 30 -60 seconds PKR 1,000 5) 60-120 seconds PKR 1,250
• Long-term collaboration opportunities for consistent performers.

Job Types: Temporary, Contract, Internship, Fresher
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From Rs2,500.00 per month
