Skillston is looking for a passionate and trend-savvy Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing visually engaging and high-impact content for social media and digital platforms. From editing cinematic videos and short-form Reels to creating motion graphics and animations, this role is perfect for someone who thrives on creativity, storytelling, and staying ahead of content trends.

Job Description:

• Edit and produce high-quality, engaging video content for social media and digital platforms.
• Demonstrate advanced editing skills in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Create motion graphics and animations (2D/3D experience is a plus).
• Maintain a strong understanding of pacing, storytelling, and retention for both short-form and long-form videos.
• Edit content optimized for YouTube, Instagram (Reels), TikTok, and Facebook.
• Perform color correction, grading, and text/caption overlays for polished results
• Trim, arrange, and enhance footage with transitions, music, sound effects, and visual effects.
• Design custom video thumbnails using tools like Photoshop or Canva.
• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to brainstorm and execute fresh video ideas.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, editing styles, and AI-based tools for faster turnarounds.

Requirements:

• A creative and trend-savvy portfolio demonstrating video editing and storytelling skills
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
• Strong understanding of social media video trends and audience engagement strategies.
• Excellent sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and content flow.
• Knowledge of YouTube and TikTok growth strategies (preferred).
• Ability to meet deadlines, take feedback constructively, and adapt quickly.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Interest in motion graphics or 3D animation (added advantage but not mandatory).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Rs60,000.00 per month
