Job Description

About the Role We’re looking for a skilled Video Editor to produce high-quality, platform-native content for Instagram and YouTube. You’ll edit in-house recordings and UGC collaborations into polished product demos, intros, quick tutorials, and feature explainers that tell the story of our tools—especially Zapify. Content You’ll Work On (Zapify.pro) Zapify is our AI tool that automates Instagram comments and DMs using smart AI replies. You’ll create product awareness videos, feature walkthroughs, help-center shorts, and educational content. You’re encouraged to sign up, explore, and sample ideas. Work Style Remote-first with flexible hours. Collaborate with content and marketing to ensure on-brand output that drives awareness and conversions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Edit, trim, assemble and color-correct raw footage into platform-ready videos.

  • Create product demos, intros, help sections, and quick tutorials for Zapify and other tools.

  • Edit in-house recordings for all channels and platforms (Reels, Shorts, long-form).

  • Handle UGC collaboration edits and repurpose into engaging short-form cuts.

  • Add subtitles/captions, transitions, and light motion graphics to boost engagement.

  • Optimize exports for Instagram and YouTube (ratios, lengths, hooks, thumbnails).

  • Collaborate with content/marketing on briefs, scripts, and brand alignment.

  • Maintain a tidy project structure, assets library, and repeatable templates.

  • Stay current with IG/YT trends and editing best practices to improve performance.

Skill & Experience

  • 2+ years of hands-on video editing for Instagram Reels and YouTube (short- and long-form).

  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro / Final Cut Pro / DaVinci Resolve; basic After Effects or motion graphics a plus.

  • Strong storytelling instincts: hooks, pacing, music/sfx, and visual clarity.

  • Fluent with captions/subtitles and accessibility best practices.

  • Experience editing UGC content and collaboration workflows.

  • Ability to manage multiple timelines with consistent quality and on-time delivery.

  • Bonus: Thumbnail design, basic color grading, audio cleanup, and template creation.

  • Portfolio required: top 5 edited videos (Reels/Shorts/Long-form).
