At SIP Abacus New Zealand & Australia, we’re on the lookout for a video editor who can bring their A-game. In 2025, we’ve achieved a +450% jump in social retention through our social content. If you’re confident in making a solid impact, love snappy cuts, slick transitions, and high-retention storytelling, this one’s for you. Bonus points if you have a knack for edu-marketing!

This is a remote position, clocking in at 8–9 hours per day. Your hours would be from 12:30 PM NZDT to 9:30 PM NZDT (that’s 5:00 AM IST to 2:00 PM IST). You’ll be reporting to the CCO (Chief Creative Officer).

What You’ll Be Doing

• Editing short-form + long-form content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube & Facebook
• Creating high-retention, scroll-stopping videos with strong hooks
• Using AI content creation tools to speed up workflows, add AI-generated footage, and enhance overall visuals and storytelling.
• Doing green screen edits, masking, keying, and polishing raw footage
• Editing UGC content, testimonials, and Meta + YouTube ad creatives
• Crafting clean pacing, structure, transitions, and storytelling flow
• Working with the creative team to build strong social assets
• Keeping up with new video editing trends and incorporating them
• Maintaining consistency with the brand’s visual identity across all edits

Who We’re Looking For

• Minimum 2–3 years of solid video editing experience
• Comfortable with fast turnarounds
• Social-first editing mindset — short-form + long-form, Meta & YouTube ad knowledge, strong hooks, pacing, and retention
• Actively keeps up with new video editing trends
• AI tool know-how for smarter, faster, more creative editing
• Innovative, reliable, and genuinely excited about making social content look cool

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
