Job Description

We are seeking a talented and creative Social Media Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for storytelling and design, with experience creating engaging video content tailored to different social media platforms. This role involves editing, optimizing, and producing high-quality videos that align with our brand identity and resonate with our audience across platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook. Responsibilities

• Transform raw footage into polished, engaging videos that capture the essence of our brand.
• Edit and format videos for various social media platforms, ensuring optimal quality and dimensions for each channel.
• Work closely with content creators, marketers, and designers to align on project goals, vision, and style.
• Monitor social media trends, emerging platforms, and popular formats to keep content fresh and relevant.
• Integrate motion graphics, animations, text overlays, and effects to enhance storytelling.
• Organize and archive footage, project files, and assets for easy access and future use.
• Ensure high-quality standards by reviewing edits for audio, color correction, and visual consistency.

Job Qualifications and Skill Sets

• 1+ years of experience in video editing, preferably for social media or digital marketing.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop) or other video editing software.
• In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and video specifications for Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
• Strong visual storytelling abilities with an eye for design, pacing, and composition.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with quick turnarounds.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
• A strong portfolio showcasing social media video content, storytelling skills, and creativity.
• Knowledge of Latest and trending video editing styles (mandatory for senior positions)
• Knowledge of latest video editing tools like CGI, VFX, motion graphics etc. (non-mandatory)
• Knowledge of working with tools of voice overs, subtitles & B-rolls (non-mandatory for junior positions & mandatory for senior positions)

Work Experience

• Above 3 months for internships
• Above 3 months for training leading to a full time job
• Above 1 year for junior executive full time job
• Above 3 years for mid level executive

Expected Salary

(per month)

• 5,000 INR for internships
• 8,500 INR for trainings
• 18,000 INR to 25,000 INR for junior executives full time positions (Work from home)
• 25,000 INR to 50,000 INR for mid level executives with full time positions with experience over 3 years (hybrid)
• Part-Time and Contractual Positions: The salary is negotiable and will depend on the nature of the job and the applicant's expertise

*The remuneration depends on the quality of work and experience

Location

• This is a remote position with daily team leader check-ins and CRM updates, along with weekly reporting. Occasional virtual meetings with clients may be required, as well as in-person client visits once a month or quarterly. The company will cover all related expenses for these visits.

Work Timings

• Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM; with a one-hour lunch break and three small 10 minute breaks for refreshment/ mental break/ walking etc.
• Saturday, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM or 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM

Trial Period

• New hires will undergo a 3 to 20 working day trial period. Should your employment not be confirmed after the trial period, payment will only be made for demonstrably usable work completed.

Work Quality, Timeliness & Professional Conduct

• If quality of work, timeliness or responsiveness is compromised then payout/ stipend will be subject to 2% - 10% compensation only.
