Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for editing raw footage and producing high-quality video content that aligns with our brand’s vision and messaging. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, including promotional videos and social media content. The Video Editor must possess a strong eye for detail, excellent storytelling skills, and proficiency with industry-standard editing software.

Duties

• Edit raw video footage into high-quality, engaging videos with smooth transitions, proper pacing, and clear storytelling.
• Add music, sound effects, captions, transitions, and basic visual effects to enhance overall video quality.
• Create short-form content for social media platforms (Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, TikTok) as well as long-form videos such as YouTube content, interviews, and promotional videos.
• Ensure videos meet required technical standards, including resolution, aspect ratio, audio quality, and platform-specific formats.
• Maintain consistency in brand style, tone, and visual quality across all video content.
• Work closely with the content or marketing team to understand requirements and incorporate feedback efficiently.
• Manage multiple projects, meet deadlines consistently, and take ownership of the final video output

Skills

• Experience with Final Cut Pro or comparable editing software
• Proven experience as a Video Editor (portfolio required)
• Strong understanding of video production techniques and storytelling principles
• Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for visual aesthetics
• Basic color correction and audio editing skills
• Creative mindset with the ability to adapt to evolving trends in digital media
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple projects efficiently

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience editing content for YouTube or social media brands
• Basic motion graphics or text animation knowledge
• Awareness of current video and social media trends
