Position Summary

SwitchON Foundation is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Video Editor to support the organization’s communication, advocacy, and outreach initiatives. The role focuses on editing high-quality videos that showcase program impact, stories from the field, awareness campaigns, training, and digital content across climate-resilient agriculture, clean energy, livelihoods, and environmental programs.

The ideal candidate should have strong video editing skills, a good sense of storytelling, and the ability to deliver engaging content within tight timelines while maintaining brand consistency.

Key Responsibilities

• Video Editing & Post-Production
• Edit raw footage into high-quality videos for social media, websites, campaigns, training, and presentations.
• Perform video cutting, sequencing, color correction, transitions, subtitles, and basic motion elements.
• Integrate audio, music, voiceovers, graphics, and text overlays into final outputs.
• Storytelling & Content Development
• Support visual storytelling by structuring footage into compelling narratives aligned with program goals.
• Edit short-form and long-form videos such as reels, explainers, testimonials, interviews, and event highlights.
• Collaboration & Coordination
• Work closely with communication teams, program teams, and designers to understand content requirements.
• Coordinate with field teams to review footage and ensure alignment with communication objectives.
• Quality Control & Timely Delivery
• Ensure accuracy, visual consistency, and high production quality across all videos.
• Manage multiple editing assignments simultaneously and deliver outputs within deadlines.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement
• Stay updated with video editing trends, formats, and digital platform requirements.
• Suggest creative improvements in storytelling, pacing, and visual treatment.

Qualifications

• Mandatory
• Proven experience in video editing and post-production for digital platforms.
• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (mandatory).
• Working knowledge of Adobe After Effects (basic motion graphics preferred).
• Familiarity with audio editing and subtitle integration.
• Education
• Graduate in any discipline (Degree/Diploma/Certification in Video Editing, Film Making, Mass Communication, or related fields preferred).
• Skills & Competencies
• Strong understanding of video storytelling and pacing.
• Attention to detail and strong visual sense.
• Ability to work under tight timelines and manage multiple tasks.
• Basic knowledge of motion graphics and graphic design is an advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Other Requirements

• Openness to occasional travel for shoots, events, or field documentation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Compensation

CTC: ₹2.40 Lakhs – ₹3.60 Lakhs per annum(Compensation will be aligned with experience, qualifications, and last drawn salary)

Manager-Motion Graphics

Travel Requirements

Occasional travel based on project and documentation needs.
