Key Responsibilities:
- Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms
- Create dynamic edits using cuts, captions, transitions, sound effects, and basic motion graphics
- Design visually appealing thumbnails and cover images for Reels/Shorts to improve reach and click-through rates
- Ensure all content adheres to brand identity, tone, and visual standards
- Optimise videos for platform-specific formats, aspect ratios, and best practices
- Collaborate with content creators, marketing teams, and social media managers
- Stay updated with short-form content trends, platform algorithms, and audience behaviour in India
- Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines
- Edit videos with motion graphics, animations, and sound effects to enhance storytelling.
- Create static creatives, including social media posts, banners, thumbnails, and other graphic assets.
- Manage and organize raw footage, assets, and project files for efficient workflow.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in editing short-form social media content
- Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or DaVinci Resolve
- Working knowledge of graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or Canva
- Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout for thumbnail design
- Experience creating subtitles/captions and attention-grabbing hooks
- Ability to incorporate feedback and revise content quickly
- Strong time management and communication skills
