Video Editor

Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into engaging, high-quality videos that align with our brand and storytelling goals. You should have a strong sense of pacing, visual storytelling, and technical editing skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw footage into polished videos for digital platforms (YouTube, social media, websites, etc.)
• Trim, cut, and arrange clips to create a cohesive narrative
• Add music, sound effects, voiceovers, and graphics
• Incorporate motion graphics, transitions, and visual effects
• Ensure consistency in style, tone, and branding
• Collaborate with content creators, directors, or marketing teams
• Review and revise edits based on feedback
• Manage and organize video files and assets
• Stay updated with editing trends, tools, and techniques

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role
• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects)
• Strong understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression
• Good sense of timing, pacing, and visual composition
• Basic knowledge of color grading and audio editing
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Creativity and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with motion graphics and animation
• Familiarity with social media content trends
• Basic knowledge of cinematography
• Degree or certification in Film, Media, or related field
