Video Editor – Freelance (Pathway to Long-Term Partnership)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Video Editor to join on a freelance basis with a clear pathway to becoming a long-term strategic partner.

This role focuses exclusively on editing high-quality short-form social content and polished long-form YouTube videos that drive engagement and reinforce brand authority.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit short-form video content (Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn) optimized for maximum reach and platform performance.
• Produce full long-form YouTube videos (8–20+ minutes) with professional pacing, storytelling, and production value.
• Perform complete post-production: cuts, transitions, motion graphics, sound design, color grading, subtitles.
• Transform raw footage into scroll-stopping, high-retention videos aligned with brand voice and current trends.
• Collaborate with the content team to execute creative briefs and deliver assets on tight deadlines.
• Provide proactive creative input to elevate video quality and audience engagement.
• Repurpose existing recordings and interviews into polished final content.
• Requirements
• Proven professional experience editing both short-form social videos and long-form YouTube content.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating technical excellence and trend-aware editing.
• Mastery of Premiere Pro, After Effects, and/or Final Cut Pro (motion graphics experience preferred).
• Deep understanding of social media video algorithms, hooks, pacing, and virality.
• Ability to work independently, deliver high-quality work quickly, and maintain consistency under pressure.
• Strong attention to detail and passion for storytelling through video.
