We're looking for a sharp, creative Video Editor who lives and breathes digital content. You'll be crafting scroll-stopping, high-converting video content across paid ads, product demos, tutorial videos, and UGC-style creatives. If you understand why a video works — the pacing, the hook, the cut, the sound design — and you can back it up with a strong portfolio, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Be Working On
- Video Ads – Short-form paid ad creatives for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram optimized for engagement and conversion
- UGC-Style Ads – Raw footage editing that looks authentic, native to platform, and performance-driven
- Demo Videos – Clean, professional product/software demonstrations with clear visual flow
- Tutorial & Explainer Videos – Step-by-step content with text overlays, callouts, screen recordings, and voiceover sync
- Social Media Content – Reels, Shorts, TikToks — fast-paced, trend-aware, platform-native edits
Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into finished, publish-ready video content across multiple formats and aspect ratios (9:16, 16:9, 1:1, 4:5)
- Apply motion graphics, animated text, transitions, and visual effects that elevate — not distract
- Sync music, sound effects, and voiceovers precisely to visual pacing
- Color grade and color correct footage for a consistent, professional look
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines without compromising quality
- Organize and maintain a structured project file system
- Take creative direction and incorporate feedback efficiently — ideally nailing it in 1–2 revision rounds
- Stay current with trending formats, editing styles, and platform algorithm changes
- Repurpose long-form content into short clips, highlights, and platform-specific cuts
Requirements
Experience & Skills
- 2–3 years of hands-on video editing experience (agency, brand-side, or freelance — all considered)
- A strong portfolio or reel that includes ad creatives, social content, or product videos (portfolio submission is mandatory — applications without one will not be reviewed)
- Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects
- Working knowledge of CapCut for fast social media edits
- Solid understanding of motion graphics and basic animation principles
Creative Understanding
- Strong instinct for pacing, rhythm, and storytelling through editing
- Understanding of what makes ads perform — hooks, retention, CTAs, pattern interrupts
- Awareness of platform-specific best practices (TikTok vs. Reels vs. YouTube Shorts vs. feed video)
- Eye for layout, typography, and on-screen text that's readable and visually clean
