Job Summary
We are seeking a Video Editor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage, images, and audio into compelling visual Instagram reels. Your expertise in editing software and motion graphics will help elevate our brand’s visual identity. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate on diverse projects, from promotional videos to social media content, ensuring each piece is polished, engaging, and impactful.

Duties

• Edit video footage using industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and Avid to create seamless and captivating narratives.
• Enhance visual content through photo editing and manipulation using Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One, and Adobe Bridge.
• Develop motion graphics and visual effects with Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Maya, and 2D/3D animation tools to add flair and professionalism.
• Incorporate typography, sound design, and color grading to improve overall video quality and storytelling effectiveness.
• Manage content workflows efficiently using content management systems and FTP for uploading, organizing, and archiving media assets.
• Collaborate closely with creative teams to understand project goals, deliver on deadlines, and maintain high standards of quality throughout the post-production process.
• Assist in filming or videography when needed to capture original footage for projects.

Experience

• Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects across social media, marketing campaigns, or film production.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; familiarity with Final Cut Pro and Avid is a plus.
• Skilled in photo editing techniques such as photo manipulation and color correction using Lightroom or Capture One.
• Knowledge of motion graphics design and animation principles for creating engaging visual effects.
• Experience working with content creation tools like Maya for 3D animation or Cinema 4D for motion design is advantageous.
• Familiarity with videography techniques including filming equipment operation and basic lighting setup.
