Video Editor - Baner (Pune)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The Video Editor will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into a polished final product, ensuring all video content meets high-quality standards, brand guidelines, and project deadlines. This role requires excellent editing skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to bring visual concepts to life.

Key Responsibilities:

• Edit raw video footage into compelling, high-quality video content for various platforms, including social media, websites, and internal communications.
• Review and organize all incoming footage to ensure it meets project requirements.
• Collaborate with the creative team to understand the vision and goals for each project.
• Apply colour correction, audio mixing, and video effects to create polished and professional final videos.
• Incorporate graphics, titles, transitions, and animations as needed.
• Ensure all videos are edited in accordance with brand guidelines and project specifications.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and adhering to deadlines.
• Stay up to date with the latest video editing trends, tools, and technologies.
• Assist with video production planning, including storyboarding and scripting.
• Provide feedback and suggestions to improve video quality and content effectiveness.
• Maintain organized files and backups of video projects and assets.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Video Editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse video editing skills.
• Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong understanding of video production processes, including filming, lighting, and audio.
• Ability to work with various video formats, codecs, and resolutions.
• Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects tools (Adobe After Effects, Motion, etc.) is a plus.
• Familiarity with sound design and music editing for video content.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, or a related field (preferred but not required).

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with 3D animation or advanced video techniques.
• Familiarity with photography and lighting equipment.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and their video requirements.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time or part-time availability depending on the project.
• Flexibility to work remotely or on-site.
• Occasional extended hours or weekend work based on project deadlines.
