Role overview: We are looking for a Podcast Video Editor, who enjoys working on an agile and fast-paced team that is looking to work for a growing brand. - This is a contractor position not employee position -

Job Description:

- Video editing skills, specifically: colour correction, masking and syncing video and audio

- Camera switching; live switching cameras on a control board for a live production
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop
- Experience/interested in creating video for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram,
Twitter)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with excellent communication and
organizational skills.
- Be on location in Frisco from Monday to Friday
- Has initiative and is collaborative in a team environment.
- Can source captivating and relevant imagery used for enhancing video content.
- Has experience and is proficiently skilled in live on-set productions.
- Is capable of operating cameras, framing, composition, etc. and setting up/tearing down
production shoots.
- Has a high level attention to detail and time efficient.
- Additional bonus: Having experience and is proficiently skilled in live on-set productions (working with camera, lighting, audio, etc.)

Responsibilities:

- Producing final video podcast episodes for distribution on YouTube
- Creating highlight clips from the full video episode for social platforms
- Creating visually appealing thumbnails for YouTube
- Producing short 30-second, high-quality teaser videos
- Collaborating with talent, hosts and producers
- Ensure all videos meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
- Meeting clients’ quality standards
- Stay updated on industry trends and editing techniques to enhance video production quality.
- Manage video files, backups, and archives for future reference.
- Work closely with producers and directors to bring their creative vision to life through editing.
- Maintain organized project files and adhere to file management best practices.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $30,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
