Key Responsibilities

• Editing & Assembly: Trim, cut, and assemble raw video footage, ensuring logical flow and continuity, often under direction from senior editors or creative leads.
• Asset Management: Organize, import, and manage media files (video, audio, graphics) following proper storage and naming conventions.
• Enhancements: Add music, sound effects, lower thirds, captions, and basic motion graphics to enhance video quality and impact.
• Collaboration: Work with creative teams (directors, producers, designers) to understand project vision and incorporate feedback.
• Finishing: Perform basic color correction, audio balancing, and create final deliverables for different platforms (e.g., TikTok, YouTube, web).
• Project Support: Assist with preparing sequences for color grading/audio mixing, quality control (QC), and ensuring projects meet deadlines.
• Trend Awareness: Stay updated on new editing software, techniques, and video trends.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in non-linear editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
• Basic understanding of color correction, audio editing, and motion graphics.
• Strong visual storytelling skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A portfolio or examples of personal video projects is often required.

Beneficial Skills (Nice-to-Have)

• Experience with After Effects, Photoshop, or Canva.
• Knowledge of social media video formats (vertical video, aspect ratios).
• Familiarity with cloud-based editing workflows.
