Video Editor Intern

Ekaaiva looking for a Video Editor Intern to help edit content for YouTube, Instagram, Shorts, Reels, and other social platforms. You will work closely with the content team to bring ideas to life and help maintain a high standard of quality and style. This is a great opportunity to learn, grow, and build a strong portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Edit video content for YouTube, Instagram Reels, Shorts, and other social formats
• Assemble raw footage, add motion graphics, music, transitions, and effects
• Follow current video trends and apply them in edits
• Collaborate with the team to understand creative goals
• Research trends, techniques, and best practices from sources like Google, YouTube, and industry platforms
• Organize and manage video files and project assets
• Ensure final videos are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

What We’re Looking For

• Good experience in video editing
• Strong interest in social media content and trends
• Creative eye for cuts, pacing, and visual storytelling
• Ability to work with a deadline and take feedback positively
• Good communication and willingness to learn

Preferred Tools & Skills

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe After Effects
• Photoshop (for thumbnails and graphics)
• Knowledge of other tools like Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve is a plus
• Basic understanding of audio mixing and color correction
