Video Editor Intern

Role Summary

We are looking for a creative and technically proficient Video Editor to join our team. You will be responsible for transforming raw footage into high-quality, engaging video content that aligns with our brand’s voice. From high-end brand films to rapid-turnaround social clips, you will manage the post-production process to deliver stories that captivate and convert.

Key Responsibilities

• Post-Production Execution: Assemble raw footage, record voice-overs, and integrate music, dialogue, and graphics into a cohesive final product.
• Storytelling: Review scripts and raw material to create a shot decision list based on scene value and narrative continuity.
• Motion Graphics & VFX: Create engaging title sequences, transitions, and lower thirds using software like After Effects or similar tools.
• Color & Sound: Perform professional color grading to ensure visual consistency and mix audio/SFX to enhance the viewer's emotional experience.
• Multi-Platform Optimization: Export and optimize videos for various channels, including YouTube (16:9), TikTok/Reels (9:16), and LinkedIn, ensuring proper aspect ratios and captions.
• AI Integration: Utilize AI-powered tools for tasks like automated captioning, rotoscoping, and smart-reframing to maximize efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Directors, Producers, and Marketing teams to understand project goals and implement feedback.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Software Mastery: Expert proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
• Visual Flair: Strong understanding of pacing, timing, and "invisible" editing techniques.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of codecs, frame rates, resolutions, and file management protocols.
• Portfolio: A strong reel or portfolio demonstrating diverse work (e.g., commercial, documentary, social media).

Preferred "Plus" Skills​

• Experience with 3D compositing or Blender.
• Basic Graphic Design skills (Photoshop/Illustrator) for thumbnail creation.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices for video platforms.
