Job Overview

Means Design is looking for a creative and passionate Video Editor / Motion Artist to join our team. We are looking for someone who can do more than edit videos. The ideal candidate should be able to develop creative concepts, take initiative, pitch ideas, and create engaging visual content for hospitality, F&B, lifestyle, and luxury brands.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit high-quality videos for social media, digital campaigns, websites, and marketing.
• Create engaging motion graphics, animations, and visual effects.
• Develop creative concepts and story ideas for campaigns and social media content.
• Pitch creative ideas and bring fresh concepts to the team.
• Take ownership of projects from concept development to final delivery.
• Produce reels, promotional videos, behind-the-scenes content, and short-form videos.
• Add music, sound design, subtitles, color correction, and finishing touches.
• Work closely with the Creative Director, designers, photographers, and marketing team.
• Ensure all work follows brand guidelines and is delivered on time.
• Organize and manage project files and creative assets.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience as a Video Editor or Motion Artist.
• Strong portfolio or showreel demonstrating creative storytelling, editing, and motion graphics.
• Experience working with hospitality, F&B, lifestyle, or luxury brands is an advantage.
• Ability to think creatively, take initiative, and work independently.
• Confident in presenting and pitching creative ideas.
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, typography, composition, and animation.
• Able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Software Skills

• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe After Effects
• Adobe Photoshop
• Adobe Illustrator
• DaVinci Resolve (preferred)
• Blender or Cinema 4D (preferred)
• Experience with AI creative tools is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with 2D and 3D motion graphics.
• Knowledge of current social media trends and content creation.
• Strong attention to detail and visual storytelling.
• Ability to create original concepts with minimal direction.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to solve creative challenges independently.
