Jagannath Community College, Rohini (Sector-3) is inviting applications for the position of Video Editor & Photographer to capture, create, and lead our visual media initiatives. We are looking for a creative storyteller who can handle the lens as well as the editing suite.

Eligibility & Required Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Journalism & Mass Communication, Cinematography, Film Production, or a related field.
• Video Editing: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve. Skills in After Effects (for motion graphics) is a significant advantage.
• Photography & Videography: Expert knowledge of operating DSLRs, Mirrorless cameras, and cinema cameras. Understanding of lighting setups, framing, and audio recording.
• Post-Processing: Skilled in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for professional photo retouching and color grading.
• Social Media Savvy: Ability to create high-impact Short-form content (Reels/Shorts) that aligns with current digital trends.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of industry experience in professional shooting and editing.
• Portfolio: A strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating both photography and video editing work is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

• Production: Serve as the primary photographer and videographer for all college events, guest lectures, and campus activities.
• Video Post-Production: Edit raw footage into polished promotional videos, event highlights, and educational content.
• Photo Documentation: Capture and edit high-quality images for the college website, brochures, and social media platforms.
• Creative Input: Brainstorm and execute visual concepts for digital outreach and student engagement campaigns.
• Equipment Management: Responsible for the upkeep and management of the college’s photography and video equipment.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the Digital Marketing and PR teams to ensure brand consistency across all visual media.
